There are so many things that have happened in a short span of 3 days. Sad, happy, fun, laughters, crazy things that I'll definitely miss in the future.

So many things that I wanna say, so many people that I wanna thanks, so many pictures that I wanna upload.

Tired.

It has been quite a shagged out week last week. But luckily there's the long weekend to help me recover from all the exhaustion. :) Anyway, we lost 2-0 to VJ last week. Tomorrow is the crucial match against RJ which will determine who will get into semis. Didn't want to come online initially but decided I'm going to end up slacking today anyway. So I decided its time to come and revive this blog, even for a short while. hehe. :) And yes once again, thanks alot everyone for all the encouragements, smses, advices, tags, and every little thing k, be it hockey skills wise, mental wise, or motivational purposes. :)

Thanks the supporters especially our seniors and some of the guys team for coming down to support us for every match! :) And all these while all the messages for the encouragements yea. Really appreciate them alot. :)

We had victory for all 3 games, but our performance for both MI and TP game was bad, its like a downward slide after the AC game. Both games we didn't meet the number of goals expected from george, which amounts to 2 hours of george's pt.

'You have to believe in yourself, you are a much better player than this!'

That was what coach shouted to me from the sidelines in the match against TPJC.

I really don't know what's stopping me from releasing the so called 'inner strength' within me.
What's stopping me from advancing.
What's stopping me from hitting in games.

I have to overcome the fear of losing the ball, the fear of wasting a hard-fought chance for us to attack and score, the fear of letting the team down.

I have to overcome the fear of losing the ball to the defender when I'm preparing to hit, the fear of missing the hit, the fear to try again.

I have to only, and only think of passing, sweeping, hitting HARD to my teammates if I'm going to pass.

I have to be harder than the opponents.

I have to overcome these fears, I have to believe in myself.

I have to. Because every game from now onwards, is going to be harder than hard.

I cannot let all these affect me anymore. I won't give up trying. But I must play better. Much much better.

Yooo, some random updates about my life. :) This week is quite slack. Didn't go school on monday, school was normal on tuesday. Had a one-to-one date with dolly after school on tuesday to go hockey village to get kickers, ate abit and I couldn't control my cravings for food , bused back to btfc, wanting to eat my ahboling. HAHA. :) But it was closed that day. Sad. Wednesday was a lame day, speech day was...boring~. Our class ended up just rotting around at the linkway there. Then...had ANOTHER one-to-one date with dolly(omg once again) to hockey village to return the old kickers before we proceeded straight to the NTU pitch for our friendly against AJ.

And this picture is taken when me and doll went to Hockey village and at jurong point's toilet before we proceeded to NTU pitch for friendly. Wanted camwhore more but well, presence of roaming human beings forbidded us from doing more. :P

And today, saturday, had chem spa early in the morning. After that, went to cine with doll, ade and ngeekiang to watch 17 again! :) It was very funny and quite nice lah. With hot guy somemore. hahah. :) Went ps to eat our lunch, at xin wang hong kong cafe. Wahh, I think the food there is really quite worth for money, the portions are big and its really nice. :) And too many choices until I couldn't make up my mind. Ohh, and ade really ate alot. Furthermore, she had a club match after that, and she still ate that much. hahaha.

Look at her GIGANTIC mango snow ice. Seriously we all got a shock when we saw that hugeeeee ice mountain. hahax.


And halfway through she got so excited about me talking about koko krunch affiliated-affiliated-affiliates(yes, its quite a far relationship, think only the 3 of us will understand lah) that her whole chunk on top dropped. hahaha! but her reflexes were quite fast too, she got it in her hand just in time. hahaha. :P

After that, we went ben and jerry at cathay to redeem my voucher for the waffle and icecream. haha, they ate while I looked on cause of my terrible voice. Oh yah, did I mention my voice was really sexy these few days? hahaha. It was quite amusing cause I think I keep zao xia-ing when I talk, which is quite fun in a way also. hehh. Anyway, on our way from ps to cathay, we passed by this kindness roadshow thing, and we got free polariods taking photo with a i duno, kindness mascot? hahaha. But anyway it was quite cool lah, we all got 1 free polaroid which is quite nice. :) There's of course the usual 'me and ade must stand on the right side' thing cause of our partings. WAHAHA. Damn funny. The guy was like change position come on, but we insisted on staying put with our positions. :P

Recently, yunjie showed me a cool website with all the top oddities in the world. Really v.cool website yo. hahaha. Saw this picture. What will you choose? heh. :)

Bored

Saturday was quite a satisfying day. :) It was one whole day of hockey and even though it was damn tiring, but yea I felt satisfied by the end of the day. Other than the fact being that I survived, but also that the 2 games have once again increased my games exposure. :)

Early in the morning, met up with doll liu ade for brunch. Ok, the whole brunch was DAMNNN FUNNY. I felt like we had some abs exercise throughout the whole eating session.

So yes, we were discussing when we get back to school to bring the goalie set out, someone will have to wait outside at main road and prepare to flag for cab after we are done packing. Ade volunteered and said something like: "ok, I can be the one FLABBING for the cab." HAHAHA. I don't think anyone's gp is that bad until they can't find the wrong word in that sentence right. :P FLABBING FOR CAB. Now that's a new thing. hahaha. Imagine ade really flagging for the cab using her flabs, oh man, hilarious. :P

After eating, went back school pack goalie stuff bla bla. Ade got the cab, and because we were running late already, we decided to pad up in the taxi. Ok, so me doll ade padded up first. Luckily I just washed my shinguards the day before, so when I take it out it doesn't really stink. The best part was when liu starts to pad up as well. The moment her shinguards were out, there was this wave of sudden pungent smell in the taxi. YES ONE WAVE OF THAT SMELL WAS ENOUGH. hahahah. Even the taxi uncle was like "hen chou leh.." hahaha, and he was like smiling throughout. And resorted to opening the windows at the sides to erm, sooth that smell. HAHA. The rest of us were already in fits of laughters already lah.

What an entertaining trip. :)

Reached northland sec and played friendly with SA. Drew 1-1. Played from around 1230 to 2, and the timing was like damn freakingly hot, nearly died from those heat waves. After that doll's dad drove me liu aman and ade to adam's road. Ate our ice kachang whatever and was just going to leave the place for our tornadoes match, when it started pouring heavily. Rain lightened up, and we went out to get a cab, and got to ccab where it was still raining and thundering heavily. But in the end we still played, halfway it rained even more heavily. Ahh, but it was quite nice playing in the rain. Won 2-1. After that, the 4 of us wanted to go back adam's for our dinner, but we were too lazy to walk and stuff. Took cab once again to adam and had our dinner before we went home. :)

What a long and exciting day spent. :)

Today, didn't go school because I had fever in the morning. But well, the fever was kinda gone by noon, wanted go school for training cause I was kinda bored at home but mother didn't allow. Ended up rotting around doing nothing constructive at home. Bleahx.

Ok, this week has been draining both mentally and physically. No idea why but I just felt super uber exhausted by the end of yesterday. And TGIGF, lols, so I got to rest at home today if not I think I'm going to sleep through the whole of today in school anyway. It's just a matter of the location of where I sleep in the end. hahaha. :) Trainings for most of this week except tues, and wednesday kind of ended up as a double training with half school training and club training after that. Cool, but I actually enjoyed it. :) Tuesday was an early home day but me and ade wanted self-train initially, but it rained heavily, we ended up slacking around in school with uma and then...convinced ade to take 67 with us to cck! :) The bus ride on 67 with uma, doll and ade WAS SIMPLY ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. Yes, I was super super ultimately entertained by ade's bus card. hahaha. I thought mine was bad enough, until I saw ade's. hahaha, oh my, just thinking about it now is still amusing me. :P hehe.

Had a PAST VS PRESENT hockey game with our hockey seniors yesterday morning at NTU pitch. :) Anyway, yea, there were like players from mar too's batch and batches that were way way older coming down. The whole pitch was kinda happening lo, with old boys old girls and our batch also of course, so cool lah. Played match against them and played as left mid today, which is a position I like playing more than the centre mid. Oh ya, have been training as the 1st runner for the defending run-outs for short corners recently. Just keep sprinting and sprinting out. But at least now I have gotten over the fear of meeting the ball when the attacker is preparing to hit. :) Had lunch and I went home to sleep.

School this week has been very typical. Actually it's just that I'm lazy to recall and recount. hee. We completed our 6items. My 2.4km run improved by about 47seconds from last year! Amazing, since I didn't expect to have such a big improvement actually. Maybe its really george. hahaha. Got a 10.18min which is my personal best since the sec4's peak. 5 items was quite normal though. No 30 pts still. haha sians.

Anyway, I kinda like the way my life is going on now. With hockey hockey and more hockey to take up half of my time. I cannot imagine life after nationals, without hockey trainings, where you have to go home straight after school most of the time, to study and study and just study. I'd rather have 10 trainings than study I guess when that time comes. It may be hard to cope with both studies and trainings now, but I guess when trainings really end for us that's when we'll all feel that emptiness in our life.

Nationals is approaching in 17days time. It's only after yesterday's match with the seniors that I realized how close we are to our first match. Yes, I'm so distracted by the fact that it is this close that I've been thinking about it every now and then. In a sense I'm both excited and scared. It just seems so hard for NJ's sports(other than canoeing) to get out of the vicious cycle. It's just so hard to prove people wrong. Nationals is what we, other schools, other sports CCAs have been working hard towards to. It's a test of hardwork, mental strength, abilities, teamwork, fitness and the ability to handle stress. No one wants their hardwork to go down to drain, everyone wants to pass the test with flying colours. Am I prepared yet for nationals? Not really. But I am determined to work hard for this last lap, to play without any regrets. We may not be the best players out there, but we must have the strongest mentality.

When your mind tells you not to stop, your body will move to follow your mind.

Never give up, fight for the team, fight for what we want. :)

Dinner with netballers

Ahh, for like 1-2 months, netballers didn't meet up at all! The closest meeting was like during the chinese new year period, which is like quite long ago considering the fact that we usually meet up once a fortnight or a month. hahaha. Yea, and it was really fun catching up with the rest! :) Ate, chatted, laughed, camwhored, played ball. Almost everyone in the team was present, except for wanying and clara. :)

Met up earlier with siqi to do homework and saw chiensiew as well. So after shopping for my mortal's stuff we went to do homework. Blablabla, reaching 7 and the rest began to reach. Wanted pizza hut but too long a wait, so ended up at ajisen in the end. Haha, our team is as usual so crappy and funny lah. Catching up on everyone's life is really so much fun eh, and of course laughing about weiting and aihua. hahaha. :) [For full collection of pics await for facebook upload/msn]

To NJ maths department:

Our march holidays is ONE WEEK, not ONE YEAR.
You don't have to spam us with one year of holiday homework for us to do in one week.
Cause at the end of the day, we'll still take one year to complete it.
Because we don't have all the time in the world.

Yep, I just saw the amount of maths homework that they want us to complete by this holidays last night. Extra prac, prelim questions, tutorials(with bmqs, pracs, FURTHER prac qns and assignment). Its equivalent to committing suicide if I do it lah. Seriously retarded, not like majority of the people can finish those homework. hahaha, in fact I didn't even manage to complete 1 single question from any of the maths holiday homework. Other than finishing complex tutorial 1 which is supposed to be completed last week. But never mind, its an achievement for me. :)

Anyway, recently I was playing some true/false game about facts with my sister on her iphone. It was quite funny. Ok, the thing went like this.

Question: Does shaking hands transmit more germs than kissing?
Me: Duh~~, false lah.
My sister agreed and said something like, "Ya, when you kiss you transmit millions of germs."
Then she pressed false.
Amd our answer was wrong! the answer is TRUE NOT FALSE! OMGGG.
My sister then turned to me and said: "I haven't finished my sentence, shaking hands transmit BILLIONS of germs.". hahaha lamee~.

Alright people, so shake less hands next time, we are transmitting billions of germs to each other each time we do so. Oh, and we learnt that apparently there is no nobel prizes for maths because alfred nobel's girlfriend ran off with a famous mathematician. LOL.

And tomorrow's a new term to the school term. Yes, and top of my to-be-accomplished aim this term.

Ok, this is an ultra no-no this term. I mean it! :) hahaha, I'm going to work towards this aim which is NOT BE LATE FOR SCHOOL anymore! :) Yeaa. One more time and its 3 cwo already. And it's only march can. Yet the number is already accumulated to 8times. Wahhh, bad bad bad. I'm going to wake up even earlier now. Have faith in me that I'm not going to be late anymore! I hope~~. :)

Oh btw, we had a club match just now. It was the most unfriendly hockey match I've played I guess. Vulgarities were flying around, and yellow/green whatever cards were flying everywhere as well. It was quite cool lah in a way, cause I've never played in a hockey match myself that someone was carded and suspended.

The expected mrt lines that are going to be built. Wowww, it seems very complicated and kinda cool hur, haha, but I think it's going to take years and years to get everything appearing lah. (Enlarge if you want clearer picture)

Hockey Camp

Heyy, I'm back from hockey camp! Wahh, its been eons since I updated, mainly because life is getting quite monotonous lahh. I need more happenings in my life! But hai, its quite impossible with the upcoming As and all the busy stuff like the upcoming season bla bla that we need to deal with this year. Anyway, this time round, the hockey camp is no longer just bridging and all the other card-dy stuff. We FINALLY followed our schedule obediently! :) Yay, it was a fun but rather short camp, though it lacks abit more excitement(the night walk and hanging around part).

But anyway, it started off with a heavy rain on tuesday morning when we were supposed to have self-training. Pt-ed for a short while before rain stops and we went out to train. It was kinda short as we were supposed to start our ball games soon. Yayy, played captain's ball and frisbee. HAHAHA. It was so funny at some parts, my juniors are really cute lah. :P Oh, and they are really a bunch of crazy camwhorers. hahaha. Lunched after that, watched coach carter. Jogged to botanics and we had our bonding cum pt games there! :) Yeaa, H2o was a really fun game which really makes you run and laugh like hell too! :) Then there was the waddle waddle thing where you try to push each other. I managed to get yee ni out of the game 1st, but next moment amanda got me out. LOL. Then amanda got out. Seriously, I should have just stoned there and wait for other people to start attacking first. haha. Vinnie was the ultimate winner. After that we had some sit down bonding games then bla bla, went adam road eat bla bla bla.

Ok, actually I'm kinda lazy to elaborate more on the camp lah. So I'll just skip randomly to talk about more significant things that happen. haha. Anyway, I shall just post some pictures here taken during the camp. Though we could have taken more but haiya, never mind. :) Somehow some of the pics looks blur here and I don't know why.

And then there was the night walk! :)


Anyway, a few of us slept on the field at night! It was dammmmn shiok though it was kinda hot at first. And it was damn funnnyy! :P hahaha. Like initially I asked amanda to come closer to me and liu, but she say never mind. Then awhile later she was like right next to me! hahah! And how tightly wrapped amanda is even though she was sweating like don't know what. And the chattings under the sky with us all lying down! Damn fun! :) It was a nice experience. But halfway through the night the wind was blowing damn strongly. And it seems like its going to rain so we moved into the grandstand. And indeed it rained heavily but sleeping at the grandstand in the nice weather was damn nice too! :)

Then...next morning we had friendly with IJ. I played a super horrible game...super demoralishing. But I guess the whole team was underperforming, 80% possession but 0% conversion. Even george was fed up with our performance. Argh...I need alot more consistency in my play.

Anyway, this is before we set off for pitch at the atrium. hahaha. Yee ni and jennifer, the 2 who slept probably the most deeply at night was sleeping again! HAHA. The new pigs of the team probably. :P

And then...there is of course the HARDCORE GAMBLERS.
NOTE: HARDCORE=ADELINE. Gamblers=the rest. hahaha.

hahaha. And this is one of the failed attempt of our jump shots. (And for your info, I don't think we even had one successful jump shot. hahah!) Anyway the picture looks blur here and I don't know why.

After the game, went with some of the hockey girls and david and edwin to eat. We ate a steamboat buffet at tiong bahru. Wahh, heavenly. Free flow of icecream, deserts, ingredients for steamboat, and the soup base! OMG it's super worth the money and the food is nice too! :) The dessert is super good too! :) The chocolate hotpan with the fruits platter, kinda like chocolate fondue kind. Or the icecreams.:) haha and the service is damn good. Its a great place to eat out for team lunch next time. :)

Went home and I slept like a pig man. And my homework load is...disastrous. I don't even feel like writing out the homework list I've to do, and the things I need to catch up with. 3 more days, minus 1 training day and 1 match day. Woohoo. Wish me luck. :)

Ohh, and recently ms lim just said something super cool to our class. As most would have known, our class created history last year when our chem cts results totally had no bars because we don't have a single pass and the highest was still a U. LOL. So ms lim said something like: "Your 1st teacher made you no bars, ms heng brought back the bar, and I'm going to make you IMBA." hahaha! It sounds really true man, hopefully our class can revive all our notorious results last year. hahah. Ohh and we learnt from Ms lim that there are really no cmI class for chem classes!! haha, our classes are named according to like cmA, cmB cmC bla bla. So yah, apparently the chem teachers know what CMI means and so there is really no cmI class. haha. Imagine the cmI class cmi. LOL. And our class cmH is like the nearest to cmI, no wonder lah our results last year was like that. haha.

Hockey, studies, play and sleep. Gotta find and maintain that balance for the next 2 months. :)

And...I added a new playlist to my blog. Sadly I couldn't find rain's september 12 from there, so can't add inside. Anyway, I'm currently crazily addicted to second chance and tongue tied by faber drive. haha. :)
