Wanted to add this part to the back of the 08S17 post posted yesterday, but well it doesn't really link and the post is already very long so decided to seperate into 2 posts. :)
Anyway, there's some random thoughts that came into my mind recently. Hmm, read this first, my favourite story. :) That I think I've posted on my blog before. :)
Seven Wonders in the World
Junior high school students in Chicago were studying the Seven Wonders of the World. At the end of the lesson, the students were asked to list what they considered to be the Seven Wonders of the World. Though there was some disagreement, the following received the most votes:
1. Egypt's Great Pyramids
2. The Taj Mahal in India
3. The Grand Canyon in Arizona
4. The Panama Canal
5. The Empire State Building
6. St. Peter's Basilica
7. China's Great Wall
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student, a quiet girl, hadn't turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The quiet girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many." The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."
The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:
1. to touch...
2. to taste...
3. to see...
4. to hear... (She hesitated a little, and then added...)
5. to feel...
6. to laugh...
7. and to love.
The room was so quiet, you could have heard a pin drop.
Cool right, these are the simplest wonders in life which we often overlooked, and we don't have to travel anywhere else to experience them. The human body is really a very fascinating thing. Not just our 5 senses, but also the way we think, the way we feel, the amazing thing called emotions, how we react and how we behave. Genes, characteristics, our mind, our emotions etc etc all differ from individual to individual, which kind of influence how we react differently to things as well. Really a very impressive self-operating system hur, hahaha.
The different interactions between people, the important role played by family in our development, the differences made in our lives by all the different friends we met on the way, the love that exist not merely just between couples, but also the love between family, between friends. Imagine us all living in solitude, with no family, no friends no love. Can't really imagine hur. Amazing how little or seemingly minor things or actions by anyone can brighten up a day of anyone else's life, even if the most stupidest things, words, actions are involved. How a smile or laughters can cheer someone up, how a gentle pat on the shoulders can motivate someone on, how a simple thank you can make someone feel very appreciated, how just lending a listening ear or shoulder can make someone feel so grateful, how a simple action or sentence can demonstrate how much you value someone and show that you care. Sometimes unknowingly, we may have created an impact on someone else's life. It's the small actions that make a big difference ultimately. Really very incredible, it feels cool to be living in such a world. If only there's just less hatred, more love, understanding and empathy.
Hmm, then I thought about how I've changed over the years. Probably influences from friends, I've become SLIGHTLY more childish, more ego, more retarded, more lame, more crazy. HAHAHA. :P What a contradiction, sounds like benjamin button hur hahaha. But I kinda like the way I am now, somehow I'm able to find joy and entertainment in my own life everyday being this way. But anyway, thank you to anyone who have entered my life, who have made me smile, laugh, happy, feel appreciated, motivated me, cheered me up, changed me etc etc etc etc. Someway or another, you've made a difference. :)
I know, what a really random post.
The good thing about randomness is that it needs no justifications. hahaha. :P

08S17
Haha, suddenly have this random urge today to look through the photo albums in my folder of 08S17. It was quite fun looking through all those photos, and all those events that took place either last year or this year.(mainly last year since this year our chances of taking pictures together are reduced greatly) Brings back quite funny and amazing memories ehh, hahaha I actually had so much fun and interesting moments with the class people. And all those record breaking things that we did. HAHAHA. Anyway yea, so I decided to come here and post random pictures of random events that happened. I tried to remember the events according to the time frame it happened as much as possible, but well, memories really fail me so yea, the events may not necessarily happen the way I organize the events here yea. :)

08S17 the stoners. :)
How we stoned everywhere from classroom, to canteen, to empty spaces every single place.
The PAE period, where we just had fun and no worries about studies at all.
Outings with the PAE people, such as the terra sentosa outing and class kbox. :)
Ok, then the record breaking thing happened during the release of CTs chem results. HAHAHA. Let's just say it was the most significant and memorable thing that anyone of us can ever remember of our class in future. And I think our class was very proud of this 'achievement' then, which is...our class pulled through the chem cts with everyone getting a U!!! And when they showed the bar chart with bars representing the percentile of each class A-Es, our class was the only one with no bars at all, just an empty space. Us officially becoming the 'barless' class. (picture below with arrow pointed)
HAHA, then this was the target setting I set for our class I remember after that event.
Wasn't close to it but well, least we got a bar by then for promos. :) Though it's still significantly lower than majority of the classes hahaha.
Then there was the enrichment week. Can't remember what I joined, but this adventure height elements thing was one of which I joined. :) Fun experience yeaa.
Then there was random macs moments with different group of people. :) 1st time kap camwhore with ade, cherry and uma. Well, the pictures then are really too unglamified to be displayed, so this pic is shown instead cause can't really see our faces hehehe. :P

HAHA, and the ultimate camwhorer-uma. :)
Then...there was college day. Where we dumbly chose to sell kaya toasts hahahah!
Then there was the last day of term 2, which is coincidentally my birthday and we had our farewell dinner for manuel at seoul garden. 1st official class outing then. :)
Ohh, and that day was just random camwhoring probably cause its the last day of school. Camwhored at lt2. hahah.
@ seoul garden. :) With both pae and jae people.
Then, comes the farewell for manuel once again, this time @ the airport though.
Then..there was this housewarming thing @ rasyiqah's house. :)
And then...this is our caal sessions where we went to the primary school to help the TAF club people lead a healthy and active life. :)
HAHAH. And then and then...on 08/17/08, we celebrated our class birthday! :) hahaha. Cool hur. :) 08s17 celebrating class birthday on 08/17 hahaha. Our class sang a retarded birthday song for ourself recorded on video HAHA and took class photos. :)
The nicest class photo I feel, though its not everyone. :)
Then..there was the OCS trip.
Teacher's day/Be yourself day, where some of our class people changed into their secondary school u.
Sports day. :)
Games festival. (the pathetic few who stayed)
And then...the nearing of promos. Pre-promos, and promos period. :)
HAHA, and yes, the crazy mugathon @ sonia's house which was damn cool and fun! :)
Promos ended, then come chionging of PW.
And finally PW ended! :) Saying goodbye to all our pw materials whee! :)
NJ121, who perservered the worst of the worst pw with me. :)
The 3 groups of our class who ended our OP on the same day as well.
After that, my group went sakae buffet to celebrate the official end of OP, WR etc etc of PW.
And then..during the december holidays, we had our 2 class outings. :)
1st outing: Class picnic @ botanics, followed by pooling @ cine, then carding/chilling/2nd picnic @ esplanade.
2nd outing: BBQ @ cheryl's house. :)
Alright so last year stuff ended. Now the little stuff in 2009. :)
CNY celebration. :)
The 'proposed class outing' after cny which sadly, hahaha, only the 6 of us went. :) Went...marina square I think? Ate, and...I think we went to watch Inkheart after that. HAHA, the good recommendation by ness which made all 3 guys fell asleep in the theatre hahaha.
Another 'proposed class outing' after speech day I think which once again, sadly only the 6 of us went again hahaha. Thomas didn't wanna be in the pic once again. hahah. New york new york lunch followed by...going derek's house to play cards I think? Can't really remember.
Then...there was the purchasing of the 'hand over the donut and nobody gets hurt' shirt @ bugis with nj117. :)

Yeps, from now onwards, such outings and events may be even more rare now that As is nearing. Hopefully our class can do well together and remove our reputation as a rather notorious class yea. hahaha, hopefully 10years down the road, such memories will still remembered and treasured. :) Meanwhile, let's study hard to do our class proud bah. YEA! :)
