Yooo, some random updates about my life. :) This week is quite slack. Didn't go school on monday, school was normal on tuesday. Had a one-to-one date with dolly after school on tuesday to go hockey village to get kickers, ate abit and I couldn't control my cravings for food , bused back to btfc, wanting to eat my ahboling. HAHA. :) But it was closed that day. Sad. Wednesday was a lame day, speech day was...boring~. Our class ended up just rotting around at the linkway there. Then...had ANOTHER one-to-one date with dolly(omg once again) to hockey village to return the old kickers before we proceeded straight to the NTU pitch for our friendly against AJ.

And this picture is taken when me and doll went to Hockey village and at jurong point's toilet before we proceeded to NTU pitch for friendly. Wanted camwhore more but well, presence of roaming human beings forbidded us from doing more. :P

And today, saturday, had chem spa early in the morning. After that, went to cine with doll, ade and ngeekiang to watch 17 again! :) It was very funny and quite nice lah. With hot guy somemore. hahah. :) Went ps to eat our lunch, at xin wang hong kong cafe. Wahh, I think the food there is really quite worth for money, the portions are big and its really nice. :) And too many choices until I couldn't make up my mind. Ohh, and ade really ate alot. Furthermore, she had a club match after that, and she still ate that much. hahaha.

Look at her GIGANTIC mango snow ice. Seriously we all got a shock when we saw that hugeeeee ice mountain. hahax.


And halfway through she got so excited about me talking about koko krunch affiliated-affiliated-affiliates(yes, its quite a far relationship, think only the 3 of us will understand lah) that her whole chunk on top dropped. hahaha! but her reflexes were quite fast too, she got it in her hand just in time. hahaha. :P

After that, we went ben and jerry at cathay to redeem my voucher for the waffle and icecream. haha, they ate while I looked on cause of my terrible voice. Oh yah, did I mention my voice was really sexy these few days? hahaha. It was quite amusing cause I think I keep zao xia-ing when I talk, which is quite fun in a way also. hehh. Anyway, on our way from ps to cathay, we passed by this kindness roadshow thing, and we got free polariods taking photo with a i duno, kindness mascot? hahaha. But anyway it was quite cool lah, we all got 1 free polaroid which is quite nice. :) There's of course the usual 'me and ade must stand on the right side' thing cause of our partings. WAHAHA. Damn funny. The guy was like change position come on, but we insisted on staying put with our positions. :P

Recently, yunjie showed me a cool website with all the top oddities in the world. Really v.cool website yo. hahaha. Saw this picture. What will you choose? heh. :)

And...jiayou to everyone working hard for either your nationals or syf yea. :) Lets do it together!

Bored

Saturday was quite a satisfying day. :) It was one whole day of hockey and even though it was damn tiring, but yea I felt satisfied by the end of the day. Other than the fact being that I survived, but also that the 2 games have once again increased my games exposure. :)

Early in the morning, met up with doll liu ade for brunch. Ok, the whole brunch was DAMNNN FUNNY. I felt like we had some abs exercise throughout the whole eating session.

So yes, we were discussing when we get back to school to bring the goalie set out, someone will have to wait outside at main road and prepare to flag for cab after we are done packing. Ade volunteered and said something like: "ok, I can be the one FLABBING for the cab." HAHAHA. I don't think anyone's gp is that bad until they can't find the wrong word in that sentence right. :P FLABBING FOR CAB. Now that's a new thing. hahaha. Imagine ade really flagging for the cab using her flabs, oh man, hilarious. :P

After eating, went back school pack goalie stuff bla bla. Ade got the cab, and because we were running late already, we decided to pad up in the taxi. Ok, so me doll ade padded up first. Luckily I just washed my shinguards the day before, so when I take it out it doesn't really stink. The best part was when liu starts to pad up as well. The moment her shinguards were out, there was this wave of sudden pungent smell in the taxi. YES ONE WAVE OF THAT SMELL WAS ENOUGH. hahahah. Even the taxi uncle was like "hen chou leh.." hahaha, and he was like smiling throughout. And resorted to opening the windows at the sides to erm, sooth that smell. HAHA. The rest of us were already in fits of laughters already lah.

What an entertaining trip. :)

Reached northland sec and played friendly with SA. Drew 1-1. Played from around 1230 to 2, and the timing was like damn freakingly hot, nearly died from those heat waves. After that doll's dad drove me liu aman and ade to adam's road. Ate our ice kachang whatever and was just going to leave the place for our tornadoes match, when it started pouring heavily. Rain lightened up, and we went out to get a cab, and got to ccab where it was still raining and thundering heavily. But in the end we still played, halfway it rained even more heavily. Ahh, but it was quite nice playing in the rain. Won 2-1. After that, the 4 of us wanted to go back adam's for our dinner, but we were too lazy to walk and stuff. Took cab once again to adam and had our dinner before we went home. :)

What a long and exciting day spent. :)

Today, didn't go school because I had fever in the morning. But well, the fever was kinda gone by noon, wanted go school for training cause I was kinda bored at home but mother didn't allow. Ended up rotting around doing nothing constructive at home. Bleahx.

Ok, this week has been draining both mentally and physically. No idea why but I just felt super uber exhausted by the end of yesterday. And TGIGF, lols, so I got to rest at home today if not I think I'm going to sleep through the whole of today in school anyway. It's just a matter of the location of where I sleep in the end. hahaha. :) Trainings for most of this week except tues, and wednesday kind of ended up as a double training with half school training and club training after that. Cool, but I actually enjoyed it. :) Tuesday was an early home day but me and ade wanted self-train initially, but it rained heavily, we ended up slacking around in school with uma and then...convinced ade to take 67 with us to cck! :) The bus ride on 67 with uma, doll and ade WAS SIMPLY ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. Yes, I was super super ultimately entertained by ade's bus card. hahaha. I thought mine was bad enough, until I saw ade's. hahaha, oh my, just thinking about it now is still amusing me. :P hehe.

:) That's my jersey number. And my birthday date. hahaha. Oh yea, our jerseys and jacket are finally here! Jacket is nice. And I love my jersey number! And I love the person more wearing this jersey. :P

Had a PAST VS PRESENT hockey game with our hockey seniors yesterday morning at NTU pitch. :) Anyway, yea, there were like players from mar too's batch and batches that were way way older coming down. The whole pitch was kinda happening lo, with old boys old girls and our batch also of course, so cool lah. Played match against them and played as left mid today, which is a position I like playing more than the centre mid. Oh ya, have been training as the 1st runner for the defending run-outs for short corners recently. Just keep sprinting and sprinting out. But at least now I have gotten over the fear of meeting the ball when the attacker is preparing to hit. :) Had lunch and I went home to sleep.

School this week has been very typical. Actually it's just that I'm lazy to recall and recount. hee. We completed our 6items. My 2.4km run improved by about 47seconds from last year! Amazing, since I didn't expect to have such a big improvement actually. Maybe its really george. hahaha. Got a 10.18min which is my personal best since the sec4's peak. 5 items was quite normal though. No 30 pts still. haha sians.

Anyway, I kinda like the way my life is going on now. With hockey hockey and more hockey to take up half of my time. I cannot imagine life after nationals, without hockey trainings, where you have to go home straight after school most of the time, to study and study and just study. I'd rather have 10 trainings than study I guess when that time comes. It may be hard to cope with both studies and trainings now, but I guess when trainings really end for us that's when we'll all feel that emptiness in our life.

Nationals is approaching in 17days time. It's only after yesterday's match with the seniors that I realized how close we are to our first match. Yes, I'm so distracted by the fact that it is this close that I've been thinking about it every now and then. In a sense I'm both excited and scared. It just seems so hard for NJ's sports(other than canoeing) to get out of the vicious cycle. It's just so hard to prove people wrong. Nationals is what we, other schools, other sports CCAs have been working hard towards to. It's a test of hardwork, mental strength, abilities, teamwork, fitness and the ability to handle stress. No one wants their hardwork to go down to drain, everyone wants to pass the test with flying colours. Am I prepared yet for nationals? Not really. But I am determined to work hard for this last lap, to play without any regrets. We may not be the best players out there, but we must have the strongest mentality.

When your mind tells you not to stop, your body will move to follow your mind.

Never give up, fight for the team, fight for what we want. :)
